As our population ages, health care facilities are becoming increasingly important to the communities in which we live. Fortunato’s experience building health care facilities is considerable, and includes hospital emergency centers, nursing homes, infirmaries and more. |
Fortunato built Outreach House, in Islip (above), which provides post-drug abuse rehabilitation to young people. |
These two centers, the Lutheran School for the Deaf, in Mill Neck, and the St, Charles School for the Handicapped, help meet the needs of the physically challenged children and adults. |

Fortunato created a true state-of-the-art, modern Emergency Pavillion at Mather Hospital including “Code Blue” equipment. This facility provides vital emergency services to thousands of residents of the Township of Brookhaven on Long Island. |
A major Long Island project for Fortunato was the 70 million dollar retrofit of the psychiatric center in Brentwood. As general contractor, Fortunato converted this facility into a geriatric center for the mentally impaired.
Fortunato has built numerous health-related facilities, such as this infirmary and nursing home, located in Albany, New York. Forunato applies the same attention to health care facilities as health care providers give to their patients.
